This Level 4 project was a Faberge Egg designed to replicate features of Ancient Egyptian designs. When open, the egg shows a carving of Ra, the Egyptian sun god, travelling in his boat to deliver the sun to the sky each day. Egyptian hieroglyphics, scarab beetles, and friezes were included in the design as well. Sandstone, wood, stone, and lapis lazuli textures were replicated.
